- YP Technician: Diploma in relevant discipline from recognized institute
- YP Operator: ITI Trade Certificate from recognized institute
- YP Generalist (HR/Marketing/Finance): Any degree with computer knowledge
- YP Official Language: Any degree with Hindi and English subjects
- Generally up to 35 years for YP Technician/Generalist
- Internal candidates: Age relaxation up to maximum 45 years based on experience
- Relaxation as per Government rules for reserved categories
- Most positions: Fresh graduates eligible
- TSTL Graduate: 2-5 years post-qualification experience required
