📚 Educational Qualification
- Essential: Master's degree in Microbiology with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Note: A relaxation of 5% is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently-abled/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/Ph.D. Degree holders (Master's Degree obtained prior to 19 Sept 1991).
Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC (SLET/SET).
Exemption: Candidates awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC regulations OR candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009 (subject to specific conditions: Ph.D. in regular mode, thesis evaluation by two examiners, open viva voce, 2 publications, 2 conference presentations certified by Registrar/Dean). - Desirable: Ph.D. in Microbiology or allied fields.
