✅ Eligibility Criteria
📚 Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following full-time regular qualifications from a Government-recognized institution:
Graduate Apprentices: 4-year B.E./B.Tech or 3-year B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BCA in the relevant discipline.
Technician Apprentices: 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering branch (after 10th or 2 years after 12th with lateral entry). 1-year Diploma is not permitted.
Age Limit
Minimum age must be 18 years as on March 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit. The notification does not provide any age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS or any other category.
Mandatory Registration
Candidates must be registered on the NATS 2.0 portal. Those who have previously undergone apprenticeship training or have completed one year of employment/service are not eligible.
Residential Preference
Preference in selection will be given to candidates domiciled in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh (Level-1 list) followed by candidates from other states (Level-2 list).

- Merit-based shortlisting using the following criteria in sequence: Date of Passing (earlier date gets higher rank)
- Tie-Breaker 1: Percentage of marks in qualifying Degree/Diploma
- Tie-Breaker 2: Marks in 12th/10th standard
- Tie-Breaker 3: Date of Birth (older candidate gets preference)
- Preparation of two separate seniority lists: Level-1 (Candidates from Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh) and Level-2 (Candidates from other states)
- Document Verification
- Medical Fitness Examination (as per Mines Rules 1955 / Apprenticeship Rules 1992)
