📚 Educational Qualification

Educational Qualifications:

• Soldier (General Duty): Class 10th/ Matric Pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system: Minimum of D Grade (33-40) in Individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent, corresponding to 45% in aggregate
• Soldier (Clerk): 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Math's/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory
• Soldier Tradesmen (All tradesmen except House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 10th Pass, no stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject
• Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 8th Pass, no stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject

Physical Standards:

For Male Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 160 cm
• Relaxation: 157 cm for candidates domiciled in the Eastern Himalayan Region - Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, and Hill Region of West Bengal (Darjeeling & Kalimpong Districts). Also applicable to Indian Domicile Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Ladakhis.
• Chest: Minimum 82 cm (expanded) and 77 cm (unexpanded).
• Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per Army medical standards

For Female Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 157 cm
• Relaxation: 152 cm for candidates domiciled in the Eastern Himalayan Region - Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, and Indian Domicile Gorkhas.
• Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm.
• Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per Army medical standards.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 42 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

👤 Age Limit

• 18-42 years
• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per government rules
