- Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years
- Air Force Academy: 20-24 years
- OTA: 19-25 years
- Indian Citizen
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came before 1962
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries
