- For Inspector of Factories & Boilers: Degree in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from recognized University
- For Inspector of Factories (Chemical): B.E. (Chemical) from recognized University
- For Inspector of Factories & Boilers: Two years experience as technical personnel in relevant fields related to boilers/Boilers Act, 1923 implementation
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script
- Knowledge of Rajasthan Culture
